Are all programmes from the BBC?

Does anyone know if all programmes on this channel are BBC programmes? If not, who are the other suppliers of programmes?131.111.161.131 (talk) 14:13, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

Answer to above question: because it is owned by BBC Worldwide, the commercial division of the BBC which has no access to any License Fee funds, but uses the profits it generates to subsidise the license fee for the main BBC public services. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.37.190.89 (talk) 12:19, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

Most of them are BBC TV Programs, but there are some ITV Programs (Sharpe, and I believe some of the Catherine Cookson dramas (although I couldn't tell you myself since I can't stand Catherine Cookson)) but there appear to be some independant films shown (Mostly Nugus/Martin that might have been shown on one of the other History Channels) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.10.181.208 (talk) 15:03, 31 May 2010 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Sdfgh.gif

Image:Sdfgh.gif is being used on this article. Reduction in Freeview hours?

According to Digital Spy, the launch of Dave on 15 October 2007 will see UKTV history broadcast only between 7am and 6pm on Freeview (though it will be 7am-1am on Sky and Virgin). Apart from my personal prejudice (it's a very bad change: we have far more than enough lifestyle channels on Freeview already, but only one history channel) there may be enough of an actual news point there to put in the article somewhere. Capitalisation?

I've noticed that on Sky the name is listed as YeSTERDAY, all uppercase with only the 'e' remaining lowercase. Is this an official change, or just a quirk of the listings? NikNaks93 (talk) 19:11, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

It's just a quirk of the listings, the website lists on 'Yesterday'. If the name did become official, then per WP:MOSTM the article would remain 'Yesterday'. -- [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 14:17, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Redundancy
