Moto Guzzi V7/Ambassador/Eldorado/850 Probably redirect all these to a single-page history of this series. Main articles on each one later, if desired.
Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.

Both Motorcycle Consumer News and More Bikes say the horizontal shock lowers the center of gravity, but I can't find where either says it shortens the wheelbase. Was that an error? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 15:46, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
I have just put in sources that say it lowers both weight and the center of gravity. One article mentions it saves space but nothing about the wheelbase specifically. I was trying to get sources to remove the word "probably". Bit weasely imo. MAbbey (talk) 15:55, 30 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

In NZ and Australia the same name is being applied to 2 different sized bikes. Visually the bikes are the same -the HO model having 2mm wider pistons. The first is a 655cc LAMS (novice -learner bike) with restricted throttle movement and 52 HP. The bike can be de-restricted by the dealer to make about 60hp once you have a full license. The full power version is 688cc and is called the HO (High Output)as it has 24 more HP. As from 2016 neither models will be available without ABS.115.188.178.77 (talk) 05:13, 22 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
