Wordsmith (disambiguation) → Wordsmith – No primary topic; while Writer is far more significant than any of the alternative topics, this name for writers is sufficiently obscure that there is no primary topic. This can also be seen in the number of page views; the redirect receives half as many views each month as the dab page. Finally, this page move will allow us to remove a hatnote from Writer; given that the article currently has three this would be a positive change even if it meant a few readers each month had to click on an extra link to get to the article they were looking for. - Support per nomination. There are six entries listed upon the Wordsmith (disambiguation) page, with no indication that this over-refined euphemism which redirects to main title header "Writer" has such a hold on literary usage that it dwarfs the combined notability of the remaining five entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 05:00, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nom. "Wordsmith" is a relatively obscure and poetic term for writers, so I'm not convinced that readers are necessarily searching for writer if they look up the term "wordsmith". ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 16:39, 20 July 2023 (UTC)
