this article does not say much about the mennonites living here, even in the demographics section it mentions most the of people living here are german, dutch, canadain, russian, etc... but about 90% of winkler's people are of mennonite decent, yet i dont see anything in the article talking about mennonites.

Well y dont you edit it then —Preceding unsigned comment added by ColbyToews (talkcontribs) 17:35, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is because Mennonites are Russian and Dutch and Canadian but I think that it should mention that culture wise there are many mennonites living in Winkler. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Writergrl13 (talkcontribs) 20:30, 27 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

I'm confused by this: " the city also lacks consumption-led regeneration. Public space is limited, and obscured by extreme lack of civil inattention.". I searched for Consumption-led regeneration, and found nothing. And I read "Civil Inattention" as being a good thing. I read "extreme lack of civil inattention" as being a bad thing. What is the basis for this? It sounds like the inhabitants of Winkler are at each other's throats! Or did the author mean that no one in Winkler can simply ignore each other, because everybody knows everybody else? How does that "fact" obscure the limited Public space? IS the public space limited? I might have written "Public space is limited, but mitigated by civil inattention" - which would be a good and normal thing, or "Public space is limited, and exacerbated by a lack of civil inattention", which is good or bad depending on your viewpoint. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sawatzky (talkcontribs) 18:02, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
