Marmaduke Branscombe edit

Someone had placed Marmaduke Branscombe, a character in Mortimer Collins's 1868 book Sweet Anne Page in the list of fictional Wykehamists. The book however mentions Winchester only once, and not in the context of Branscombe. If anyone knows of evidence that he's a Wykehamist, feel free to supply it and put him back into the table. Also, Claude Erskine-Browne in John Mortimer's Rumpole of the Bailey series was in the list. Again, no written evidence found; maybe the character wore an old school tie in the series somewhere.
