Are we sure this isn't the same guy as William Wright (missionary)? They have slightly different birthdates, but the other one is ill-referenced...and they both focused on writing and translating religious works in the late 19th century? Both of these William Wrights could be expanded from their Dictionary of National Biography entries if anyone cares to do so?
