I've just added web REFs to Cotton's CV, which gives a verifiable source for the two details that were flagged as 'citation needed.'
Is this sufficient to now remove the 'needs sources' template?
(While updating, I also removed a link to the ISI Highly Cited list, as this is paywalled for subscribers only, so not a WP:RS for the general reading public.)
