Gertrude Hall - 2nd wife edit
Gertrude Hall (1863-1961), American romantic novelist, poet and translator, born in Boston, Massachusetts. Daughter of Edna Amile Brown, concert singer, and David Culver Hall, concert tour conductor. Hall and her family (including opera singer Marguerite Hall and writer Grace Marie Hall) lived in London, Florence, and New York. Married literary critic William Crary Brownell in 1921.
