Some of the information on this page is incorrect. There should be reliable sources for the information. Perhaps, Wikipedia is getting sloppy (IDK). For instance, William Bassett of Bethnal Green, London, England and his wife Elizabeth (nee Tilden) were married in England, and (according to ships passenger logs) they both arrived together in Plymouth on THE FORTUNE 9 November 1621. Check the ships logs!

"The ship Fortune with Master Thomas Barton, arrived at Plymouth on November 9, 1621, just a few weeks after the First Thanksgiving. This passenger list is based on the 1623 Division of Land, the passenger list compiled by Charles Edward Banks in Planters of the Commonwealth, and by the information found in Eugene Aubrey Stratton's Plymouth Colony: Its History and its People, 1620-1691.

William Basset (From Bethnal Green, Stephney, Middlesex, bound for Plymouth. Ref: Banks Mss. 36 pg 113) Basset Elizabeth, wife." Cheers, S.M. Randall-Friday Randall/ Ratz Ancestry Randallratzancestry (talk) 22:28, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
