The final sentence "The paradox assumes, incorrectly, that people will spend when they feel wealthy, based on the wealth effect, but not when they are actually more wealthy." makes too strong an assertion about the incorrectness of the paradox's assumption, from my reading of this article and Paradox of thrift. Indeed, two paragraphs prior to that is a suggestion that the wealth effect is not supported by evidence. I will remove 'incorrectly', leaving it noted that it is an assumption.
