Waka has a great potential, but it is hard to know if it will be implemented one day. I think anyone interested by HTTP should know about waka and find its references in Wikipedia, either from a dedicated article, or from a section in the HTTP wikipedia article. If we can have a dedicated article for Waka, it could show how it works Alexandre.Morgaut (talk) 10:03, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
WAKA protocol is being developed edit
A scientist from Adobe Systems, a very prominent software company, with thousands of WikiPedia articles to it's name, is developing the protocol, I don't think we should delete the article for it.
- it is a faster than HTTP protocol, and possibly will supplant it in the extended future.
- It gets rid of all the filler in HTTP.
- It fixes most if not all broken HTTP requests created by overloaded HTTP servers, something that is a current major issue to developers and users (ever have to refresh a blank page? WAKA fixes that).
We allow stub articles on much crappier stuff, we should enhance this, not delete it, we need 50m articles FY12 right? =) This is emerging past Feilding's odd initial description of it (saying it was all in his head, not on paper) and he is working on it, let's give him the courtesy time he deserves, he's a scientist working at Adobe and has enhanced many products we use every day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Onexdata (talk • contribs) 06:00, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
