Some house cleaning -- lots of little edits are needed

edit

So who's active here, who are the top-dogs, who's baby-sitting this page, who want's to know who I am before I start making some edits and additions? I've recently been editing the Viol page (viola da gamba or vihuela de arco) and I decided to come have a look at the vihuela page. I think some work is needed. Anonymity might be nice, but, here's my web site section (6 huge pages) on early vihuela, both plucked and bowed (you really can't know one without knowing the other, btw). I'll wait a day or two to see if anyone responds here before I start editing. I have tons of iconography to select from as well (as you'll see at my web site). This page needs an edit badly. VegSXEBassist 22:52, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Merge Mexican Vihuela?

edit

"While the Mexican vihuela shares the same name as an ancient Spanish plucked string instrument, the two have little to do with each other, and they are not closely related." Thus begins the article on the Mexican vihuela. How anyone could read this lead sentence and think the two should be merged is beyond me.71.218.34.228 (talk) 18:51, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
