According to the latest reports, he was a Romanian citizen of Ukrainian descent, probably a vagrant. DNA evidence did not match the one from the scene, and hence he has been released. In the last few hours reports have come in about a Bulgarian being arrested in Germany, but nothing official so far. The wiki article will likely expand significantly in the coming days and weeks, so let's wait until some decent sources are available. Skycycle (talk) 22:28, 9 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
