Will review later in the week.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:29, 17 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Legacy
  • "Poriyaalan, which was produced by Vetrimaaran's A Grassroot Film Company, also had similarities with the film." -source doesn't say that. In fact somebody denies it.♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:13, 20 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Dr. Blofeld: I removed the entire part of Poriyaalan. Ssven2 (talk) 07:09, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

As Blofeld has resigned from the review, I will take on.... from tomorrow. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:11, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Kailash29792: Oh good   Ssven2 (talk) 15:27, 21 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I just find contemporary Indian movies difficult to be enthusiastic about in assessing with GA quality. I'm never keen on cast sections with that sort of commentary either, it belongs in production. Not that I'm discrediting your hard work on it of course, but it's not the sort of film I'm happy reviewing admittedly and is best done by somebody into such films I think.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:35, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yes Blofeld, I too don't often look forward to make 21st century Indian movies GA's due to lack of interest, and they don't look historically significant. Kailash29792 (talk) 11:45, 22 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Impressive. Now how about reducing the character descriptions as much as possible? This is optional, but I am only asking so that it does not give away spoilers. Kailash29792 (talk) 06:01, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done as asked Ssven2 (talk) 06:29, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done replaced the reference. Ssven2 (talk) 15:18, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done as asked. Ssven2 (talk) 07:44, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • I see that one of the reviews in "Critical response" compares the hero and villain to David and Goliath respectively. Can you elaborate on that in this section? Kailash29792 (talk) 05:02, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done placed it in "Themes". The heading is now "Themes and influences". Ssven2 (talk) 08:45, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done written "TOP 10 ALBUMS". Ssven2 (talk) 07:48, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • "Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures acquired the theatrical rights of the film in Tamil Nadu" - for free? Or did he buy? Kailash29792 (talk) 07:37, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done He bought the film's TN theatrical rights but none of the references specify the amount. Ssven2 (talk) 07:55, 23 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Box office

@Kailash29792: Actually, both Tamilboxoffice1 and Bollywood Hungama get their box office collection data from Rentrak. So that is the main reason I used the source. If you want me to remove it, I'll do so by all means.   Ssven2 (talk) 07:39, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

If that is so, does Rentrak have any info on the BO collections of the film? If so, please use it. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:57, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Kailash29792: I need to have an account on rentrak for that. But, I removed the references for Tamilboxoffice1 (both of them that were on the article page). Ssven2 (talk) 08:02, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
That's all Ssven. Now just settle the David/Goliath thingy, and this review is passed (you settle them today, then VIP becomes your second GA in 24 hours!) Kailash29792 (talk) 08:10, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done @Kailash29792: replaced the David/Goliath thingy. Ssven2 (talk) 08:14, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

I mean, M Suganth's (TOI writer) comparision of the hero and villain to David/Goliath should be preferably in "themes". Kailash29792 (talk) 08:22, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Done @Kailash29792: as asked Ssven2 (talk) 08:28, 24 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
