Retitle

I think Vaivasvata Manu is a more widely known name then Shradhadeva. Any objections if I retitle the page? Cheers, Kautilya3 (talk) 10:32, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

Shraddhadeva Manu → Vaivasvata Manu – Vaivasvata Manu is far more common in WP:RS than Shraddhadeva Manu. Eg. [1], [2], [3], [4]. Even in the past, another user also proposed this move but no one responded. .245CMR.•^👥📜 04:43, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

• @245CMR: Some of these edits say that Shraddhadeva Manu is son of Vaivasvata Manu, and thus that the two are distinct individuals. It looks like that someone who knows plenty about Hinduism needs to give a ruling here. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 12:55, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

@Anthony Appleyard: No they are the same, the name Vaivasvata Manu is derived from Vivasvan (his father who is also called Surya). Shraddhadeva is an uncommon epithet which means "husband of Shraddha"..245CMR.•^👥📜 12:58, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
