Washington Standard, December 22, 1860, page 3 [1]:

"Miss Trimble, one of the survivors of the Salmon Falls massacre recently arrived in Portland, accompanied by her cousin W. F. Trimble of Salem, Ogn."

This little snippet spurred me to get the ball rolling on this article. Note that searching for "Salmon Falls Massacre" in Google Books resulted in just as many hits on we've titled the Raid on Salmon Falls. —Mrwojo (talk) 04:52, 6 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, it looks like the article describes this battle happening in modern day Idaho, but I saw the sign in Oregon.
Can we confirm that this land used to be Idaho and now Oregon? 2600:100E:B30F:F597:D4D7:8F7F:F1BE:6F81 (talk) 00:36, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
