Is it time . . . . .

edit

To rename the BCFTCS entry (and upgrade it) now that they are proudly proclaiming the name change (to University College Birmingham) on their web site? Quartic (talk) 20:30, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I reckon ... JimmyGuano (talk) 23:51, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm going to request that the existing University College Birmingham article be deleted so we can move this article there. Cordless Larry (talk) 14:28, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality tag

edit

I have removed the neutrality tag placed by User:Computerjoe in October 2008. No discussion has been initiated on this and there appears to be no reason for it. Jezhotwells (talk) 22:28, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Some sections were too detailed and struck me as an advertisement. Perhaps the NPOV tag was a bit too harsh, but some favourable words are unneeded. Computerjoe's talk 14:19, 23 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

changes on UCB page

edit

i've not edited pages on wikipedia before and would like some advice on my doing so as an employee of UCB - there are a number of innacuracies and amendements needed on the page - i don't think they constitute advertising - an example would be that The University of Birmingham 'accredits' rather than awards our degrees - we have recently amended our website to reflect that difference. shall i go ahead and make the changes i feel are needed or post them in a new talk section so they can be changed by another member of the community? thank you in advance for your kind help. I cannot see a problem with you changing the page if the changes are minor in nature and not controversial. Though I would read Conflict of Interest first. Keith D (talk) 17:36, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

HESA Statistics

edit

The HESA statistics which inform the total students number is misleading in that it counts all enrolments rather than students, this is particularly significant for Further Education students who may be enrolled on multiple programmes on a single academic year - i.e. they nay be doing both an NVQ 1 and 2 in the same subject. HESA recognise this as two students and the total student number is artificially inflated - HESA acknowledge this themselves in note 15 below HESA notes to tables would be great to get some advice on how to tackle this edit Marsha.collins (talk) 14:27, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
