WMYD edit

I'm starting to doubt whether WMYD should continue to be included as an affiliate. It has been an SD simulcast since at least a week before the Olympics. MMetro (talk) 01:50, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Merged it edit

I merged WCSN into Universal Sports, and created a redirect for Universal Sports from World Championship Sports Network. NoseNuggets (talk) 3:07 PM US EDT Sept 28 2009. >UPDATED 1:54 PM US EDT Sept 30 2008<

Remove Granite Stations? edit

Do you think we should remove the Granite stations that don't actually air the Universal Sports subchannel? What about the Sunbelt stations in the same boat? I don't know if they have some kind of corporate relationship or air the programming at odd hours, but they don't have the subchannel itself. TripEricson (talk) 18:40, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

DMA list edit

The DMA list seems way off. For one, it's not ordered properly (and it seems to be using table rows and not DMA numbers). What caught my eye is that Phoenix is market 12 or so - 12 is listed as another market (note that Uni Sports isn't in Phoenix). Someone just removed the DMA numbers (which we're not allowed to use) and instead made the numbers sequential. TripEricson (talk) 16:24, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

high definition; 16:9 aspect ratio edit

does anyone know if this channel is available in high definition and/or 16:9 aspect ratio on any system? article is kinda silent on video format (totally silent in infobox). on time warner cable (new york city) i only seem to get it on a non-HD channel (olympics stuff...only time i've bothered to try to find it...seems to be in letterbox with top/bottom bars (but no pillars))--98.113.187.11 (talk) 15:14, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not a HD Channel 1080p edit

I am streaming this channel from DirecTV (625). My entire family like this channel but the resolution is still bad. Does anyone know if there is a plan to broadcast it in 1080p? The line of sports is so fantastic, it offers other mainstream sports like swimming, volleyball, Olympic type etc... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.46.199.231 (talk) 03:52, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

What happened to this channel? Where did it go? edit

I used to watch this channel over the air with my antenna. It was like Olympics all the time. Does anyone get this channel anymore? Will it be showing the 2012 summer Olympics from London? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.88.182.81 (talk) 06:39, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please see the article (Availability section). Msw1002 (talk) 03:53, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Since no one could/would actually answer whether the Olympic Games of 2012 would be on U.S. live I had to find out my self. The answer being no. Probably because few cable companies carry the network and NBC treats the network like a red headed step child since they were bought by Comcast. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.88.167.97 (talk) 09:30, 27 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Needs to be in 1080p High Def edit

Multi-Sport Pack. If you're into sports, DISH puts you in the middle of the action, you would want to view the Universal Sports in HD — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.46.199.231 (talk) 03:59, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
