Creation of new page for list of state by state maxima
editPer the feedback from the GA failure of tropical cyclone rainfall climatology, decided to head off a problem at the pass and move the state by state lists to their own list page, List of wettest tropical cyclones in the United States. Thegreatdr 20:01, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Precipitation in southern California
Check that article again... it says tropical systems lead to 20% of WARM SEASON precipitation in southern California. While this is significant, most of California's precipitation falls during the cold season, so the actual amount of precipitation contributed in southern California, especially along the coast, is much smaller than 20% on average. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.122.9 (talk) 14:41, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
