Hey, thanks for starting to add the list. Let's try to keep consistent formatting with the other pages though, notably with Graduate Texts in Mathematics. I may change this when I have time. Cazort 04:10, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I used the Template:Cite_book because I felt that it allows the info to be formatted consistently and in some sort of wiki standard. If anything I think the GTM list should be reformatted using the template. 208.252.96.220 17:57, 15 January 2007 (UTC) (Just another anon)Reply

I recently published a github with all of the books I could find in both the UTM and GTM. It could be used to generate the content list https://github.com/raisdead/TextsInMathematicsBibtex — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.31.224.130 (talk) 19:29, 28 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey, thanks for your list. I created a C program to generate, from your list, a new list for this page of UTM books.

What about ISBN 978-0387984797? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.214.110.230 (talk) 00:27, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. It was missing: Protter, Murray H. (1998). Basic Elements of Real Analysis. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.29.235.158 (talk) 13:02, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

A quick search on internet shows that Lecture Notes on Elementary Topology and Geometry was already published in 1967, and Finite-Dimensional Vector Spaces in 1958, so the order of the books has to be modified.195.220.106.83 (talk) 17:01, 15 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

No references provided. Seems like advertising.

Wikipedia is supposed to provide unbiased, encyclopedia type information of stuff that has acquired a certain minimum level of "notability". Does this article satisfy those criteria? It seems more like an advertising attempt.

Also, there are no references or citations provided. (If it was notable, references should be easy to find on the internet.) Information not backed up by references and citations can be challenged and removed. 115.69.242.129 (talk) 18:27, 17 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Great and helpful

I disagree with the comment that this page is advertising. The writer of this page has provided specific information that was gleaned from a monograph series on basic mathematics, that is an accessory page to a main page. I would only disagree with some of the ISBN numbers and publication dates as Springer-Verlag released a number of different editions of the same volumes in this series. 24.13.71.22 (talk) 04:40, 7 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
