Summaries far too long

edit

As per the

tag that was on this article, the summary was far, far too long at 2,500 words.

As @Cambalachero pointed out on the Black Panther version of this page, there is:

"...a guideline at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Writing about fiction, which says "The length of the prose should be carefully balanced with the length of the other sections, as well as the length of the story itself; simple plots may require only short summaries.". A film has a limit of 700 words of plot"

This comic has had 9 issues and was already at 2,500 words. It's way too much. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a tool to completely rehash entire plots.

Anyone should feel free to rewrite my abridged version - but the length shouldn't be dragged out. Peterspeterson (talk) 02:45, 17 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
