Unanimous consent in senate? edit

In the infobox it says: "Passed the Senate on April 6, 2022 (unanimous consent)". Can anyone clarify what does the "unanimous consent" mean here? The links only mention the unanimous consent for the amendment [1] and for the passage in the senate commitee [2], but for the vote of the bill S.3522 in the senate itself it does not mention unanimous consent, but only a voice vote. --Kammerer55 (talk) 16:04, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

The news sources say the vote was unanimous in the Senate. E.g. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/lend-lease-ukraine-weapons-bill-passes-congress/ and https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/these-10-republicans-voted-against-lend-lease-for-ukraine/ar-AAWJ58q
Also, this doesn't prove the Ukraine vote was unanimous, but in Voice vote it says that voice votes in Congress are usually unanimous, as even one dissenter can demand a division and full vote count. Shimbo (talk) 18:53, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, you are correct.
Voice vote is not the same as unanimous consent, but it is generally OK to refer to something passed by voice vote as "passed unanimously".
I fixed this in the legislative history now. CrazyPredictor (talk) 17:47, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
