History

This section probably needs to be rewritten to avoid plagiarizing the source, which is a single webpage on the school's official site, the one entitled "Timeline" in the references section of the main article.Vercillo (talk) 23:29, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

The information about the School being the first Law School in the Southwest is incorrect. Austin College in Huntsville, Texas housed the first law school in Texas and the Southwest. It was established in 1855 a full 41 years before the law school at USC. The original Building in which the Law School used to hold classes still stands at Sam Houston State University with a plaque commemorating it. So even though the Law School in Huntsville is no longer around it was the first one in the Southwest. The website below has a picture of the plaque on the original building proving this point. http://buildingshsu.blogspot.com/2009/08/usc-law-school-wasnt-first-in-southwest.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.90.162.158 (talk) 20:28, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Endowment

The info box says USC Law School's endowment is $100 million, but it must be much more than that. It was almost $150 million over ten years ago. I just don't know where to find reliable current information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.165.34.58 (talk) 22:08, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

I can't tell you where to get the information you seek, but I've removed the field from the infobox entirely as it was not backed up by any source. If you find a reliable source, please let us know.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:37, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
