editI have a question, how could this movie have lost $62,000 when it grossed $1,800,000 ($875,000 in the U.S. and Canada and $925,000 elsewhere) on a $1,247,000 budget? If these figures are correct, the film made a profit of $553,000. I doesn't add up, it doesn't make any sense at all. Garbo "disliked dancing in general"
editA myth, quite wrong (and unsourced). Karen Swenson's biography mentions GG going dancing with friends many times.
