Time period

edit

The text said "in the early 1930." I changed it to "in the early 1930s." as that would be true even if what was meant was "in early 1930." However if someone can confirm the meaning (and adjust the article if necessary) that would be good. Rich Farmbrough 09:37 15 July 2006 (GMT).

Yes it was actually 1930. See e.g.: 1 --82.131.24.246 (talk) 10:15, 18 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

It's strange that the only half-critical sentence in the article reflects the official Soviet point of view on kulaks, not a scientific source. --82.131.24.246 (talk) 10:18, 18 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Post-2014 usage

Hasn't the term been resurrected since 2014 as a derogatory term to describe soldiers of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, implying that they serve purely for the pay of 25,000 roubles a month, which is one of the few ways to make a living given the ruination of the economies there? --GCarty (talk) 20:01, 17 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
