editI added very JUST and necessary specifics from all over the world links, since according to AFP and Reuters, this is the first time that a Filipino President was convicted and jailed.

Reclusion perpetua?
editFrom what I know, at least at the time of the trial, the sentence for a plunder case was death which was one reason why then president Arroyo had granted him a presidential pardon.
Case for the prosecution?
