Success of the Amsterdam Treaty

edit

I'm not an expert so I hesitate to amend thta text my self. This is my concern: "The Amsterdam Treaty did not settle all institutional questions once and for all". This is a sweet way to say that many of the decisions taken by this treaty were unmanageable and that they were to be addressed soon, like it was during the Nice Treaty. "Amsterdam Treaty v. Treaty of Amsterdam"

edit

I reverted a recent move of this article. I don't think it should be moved until there's consensus to do so. Fyi the current Google search results produce the following:

  • "Rome Treaty" 94,100
  • "Treaty of Rome" 515,000
  • "Amsterdam Treaty" 249,000
  • "Treaty of Amsterdam" 243,000
  • "Maastricht Treaty" 674,000
  • "Treaty of Maastricht" 301,000
  • "Treaty of Nice" 253,000
  • "Nice Treaty" 187,000
  • "Lisbon Treaty" 2,050,000
  • "Treaty of Lisbon" 1,600,000

This vindicates the name used on Wikipedia with the exception of Lisbon. — Blue-Haired Lawyer t 00:23, 28 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
