If they are smart, they will eliminate timezones and use GMT/UTC. edit

The whole world should abandon timezones and use UTC/GMT. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:643:C002:C120:EDEE:9A3E:1424:43F5 (talk) 00:03, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Other countries with winter time edit

Ireland legally uses winter time; see Time in Ireland and the references therein. Joseph Myers (talk) 01:05, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot, I'll rephrase the claim. --Pgallert (talk) 08:11, 26 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
Forgot about that for a while but repaired it now. Thanks again, --Pgallert (talk) 08:41, 1 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Not really West Africa Summer Time edit

Given that no other country using West Africa Time observes summer time, and Namibia has a winter time rather than a summer time, isn't "West Africa Summer Time" a misnomer? It would be clearer to say that Namibia Standard Time is the same as South African Standard Time, whilst Namibia Winter Time is the same as West Africa Standard Time. Currently, West Africa Summer Time is a redirect to West Africa Time.

I'm going to alter this, on the basis that it's in line with previous changes such as the move from Daylight saving time in Namibia.
