Why is my article marked G5? I never even used Wiki before?

Hi. This page has been created several times by a user who is banned, so when I saw it had been created again I automatically assumed the same had happend again but you don't look like the same user so I'll restore your edits now. Sorry for the inconvenience. –anemoneprojectors– 22:57, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
But it does look like you copied and pasted an existing Wikipedia aritcle rather than wrote it from scratch. Which seems odd. –anemoneprojectors– 23:03, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I am not that program savvy so I took an existing page format and used all new information. There is not one word from pasted page. Thanks for your help. I hope to get better at this as I add other clients. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mrcrebbs (talkcontribs) 23:35, 5 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

That would have worked much better had you copied and edited the wikisource of another page rather than the output text. Try the Editing Help link! I've fixed the basics but have had to mark the article as an Unreferenced biography of a living person, which puts it at risk of deletion. Some of your external links may work as inline citations. dramatic (talk) 04:34, 6 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, the addition of all those redlinked categories sure is typical of the banned user I mentioned previously... –anemoneprojectors– 00:42, 17 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

I can assure you that I am merely an amateur at Wikipedia and am just new to this. I looked at another actors page and tried to enter Thomas's information based on what I had read on Wiki and what I saw on the page and edit page. I am starting to somewhat understand and am only trying to enter information for my client Thomas. Since most of the information was told to me by Thomas, I will have to go back and find links from the net, papers and magazines to cross reference this. I have never been banned nor have I anything but the best intentions. It's a lot to digest for a newbie, and I appreciate any help you can give, as I have no desire to break rules or cause any issues. Mrcrebbs (talk) 02:49, 18 February 2011 (UTC) I put in the categories so there would be links. I have no idea what a "redlink" is but once again, I saw the links on other actors pages, and tried to enter them here. Sorry.Mrcrebbs (talk) 02:54, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

He's your client? That would be a conflict of interest. Have a read of WP:COI. And I'm sorry, I didn't mean to accuse you of being a sockpuppet, you're definitely not. –anemoneprojectors– 08:08, 18 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
I'm trying to learn the code and procedures of Wikipedia. I do not mean to cause disruption or issues. I am just trying to add a person of interest, found throughout Wikipedia, other Wikis and encyclopedias, with hundreds of thousands of references on the Web. I would think these edits improve and contribute to Wikipedia, and I will improve as I learn. I have tried to present neutral, non-controversial information with solid sources, original research, and solid verifiable facts. Since I have limited time, and have to spend time reading your guidelines and specifications, please excuse my newbie errors and slow pace of sourcing. I am trying to edit what I hope will be one of many quality pages to come. I appreciate your help and guidance. Thanks!Mrcrebbs (talk) 01:30, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
That's ok. As long as your contributions are neutral, it should be fine. –anemoneprojectors– 13:11, 21 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
