This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because I need more time to work on it - I suppose I didn't contextualize him well enough. Thom is largely credited with turning the direction of the International Jugglers' Association around - from a steady decline to one of revitalized global importance. The IJA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rendering service to fellow jugglers, and was established in 1947.
