My intentions edit
I worked hard to find information, but so far it's not there.
There was one interview that may have helped, but I didn't try to watch it or write down what was in it. And there was no transcript. The link is under "External links" so if anyone can do that, they are welcome to.
We're not supposed to draw conclusions and I found no source that confirmed this, but I believe the holiday specials, having similar titles to this one and airing on the same network, led to this series. I didn't know the same company produced both shows, so that's more evidence. I also believe material from previous TV series on Fox may have been used for the holiday specials and this series. After all, how did they get people to send in the videos? What did the old series do with the ones they received and never aired? The old series had different producers, so there's no evidence to support this. Until I find some or someone else does, I guess we can't put any of that in the article.
I also know I'll be guilty of some original research, although a couple of unacceptable sources confirm what I plan to say. I didn't use "cite episode" for anything, although some of the concepts appeared in many episodes.Vchimpanzee · talk · contributions · 15:09, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
