'Medieval origins' in criticism section edit

The word 'medieval' doesn't seem to fit quite right, 'fantasy historical' might be better? Most of the books concerned with the watch seem to fit a more renaissance to Victorian period historical allegory. 86.17.173.183 (talk) 18:38, 23 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I changed it slightly, the source says "a mostly pre-industrial world that's roughly analogous to medieval times" so you would need to find WP:reliable sources describing Discworld as "fantasy historical" etc to change that label here. But I agree the medieval label does not fit even though Guards Guards have a more medieval atmosphere than for example Going Postal and books after that.
