Radio Hits
editI don't have much of a memory of "Happy Song", "Wire", and "Passion" being "radio hits." Sister had airplay. But the others?--Lindsay (talk) 20:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Pseudo headings
editWalter Görlitz, care to show me where in MOS:LAYOUT it says that pseudo headings are correct? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:58, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- You've conflated two concepts and so, no I cannot.
- LAYOUT states that we should avoid short sections (primarily for readability). To have a members section as a level-two heading followed by a handful of level-three headings current members then a handful of previous members, touring musicians and whatever else is simply unnecessary. All that is needed is the level-two heading.
- WP:PSEUDOHEAD, on the other hand is about accessibility. Screen readers have a difficult time with false headings that are formatted using a semi colon that are followed by a list, such as in a bullet list of members. The advice there is to simply use bold instead, or if you are going to use the semi-colons, use colons for the list items so they are not rendered as lists.
- Care to explain where PSEUDOHEAD states that we should not use bold and instead must use physical level-two headings? Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:58, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
- Yup, right here: WP:PSEUDOHEAD "Do not make pseudo-headings by abusing semicolon markup (reserved for description lists) and try to avoid using bold markup". Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 03:09, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- In this case, use of bold is preferred to unnecessary level-two heading, which is what PSEUDOHEAD is all about. Walter Görlitz (talk) 06:32, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Is it? I don't see that written anywhere. I think that's something you decided based on personal preference. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:51, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Think what you like, or go ask at the project. Walter Görlitz (talk) 16:53, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
- Walter Görlitz There you go again, imposing your version of how you think the article should look without caring about agreeing with other editors. You act like a total dictator. You can't engage in an edit war with someone and then invite them to "discuss it on the talk page", that is disingenuous. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 13:48, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

- Third opinion The way I read it, this section should be standard level-2 and level-3 headings, not pseudoheadings, and the section content does not seem too short to me. Pyrrho the Skipper (talk) 17:08, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
