Isn't the title "The Kiss Seen Around the World" a reference to "The shot heard around the world"?

Probably, but saying so in the article would be original research. / edg 00:13, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Closed Captions mistake is wrong

edit

"The "dismembered Baltic hooker" is "dismembered Spanish hooker" in the closed captions." is false. This episode was on yesterday (Feb. 16th) on the Canadian network 'TeleToon', as I use captions, I saw the hooker joke. It indeed says 'Baltic hooker', not 'Spanish hooker'. Perhaps this only applies to Canada..?

  • I saw this episode on Adult Swim two nights ago and it said Spanish in the captions on there. Maybe the caption mistake is in the US only.

Roman Polanski

edit

Does the Roman Polanski joke have anything at all to do with Polanski's style? I thought it was nothing but a reference to the murder of Sharon Tate.

Notes

edit

"Approximately 40 seconds into the episode, when Peter and Brian are commenting on the Toy Disc guns, you can clearly see the Logos for: The Illuminati New world order (the all seeing eye) and the Sign for the Jews printed on board game covers." This is a bit far fetched - although it could possibly be the all seeing eye, the lower box is clearly a Chinese checkers board.

Peter Jennings

edit

What was the song that played when Tom Tucker called Peter Jennings? I thought it sounded like "Foxy Lady" by Jimi Hendrix but I'm not sure.

Fair use rationale for Image:FGKissSeenRoundWorld.jpg

edit

Image:FGKissSeenRoundWorld.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

First Episode With Stewie's Line

edit

Isn't this the first episode where Stewie's line in the opening number was edited to sound more like "laugh and cry" and less like "effin' cry"?67.177.49.13 (talk) 06:51, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Media reference, Tom Tucker coming out of the pool?

edit

The scene where Meg imagines Tom Tucker coming out of the pool and she kisses him - this feels like it's some media reference but I've no idea what to. Interesting to know and good fodder for article.

This scene comes from the movie, "Fast Times At Ridgmont High", substituting Tom Tucker for Phoebe Cates' character Linda Barrett. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.151.117.36 (talk) 03:11, 27 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fred Lubins

edit

See here's the thing... typing in 'Fred Lubins' into the search here takes you to this page, which doesn't mention that little thing once. Just saying that if it's going to redirect, the article should be relevant to the redirect.70.24.102.245 (talk) 08:26, 25 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
