Quinn shows Carrie that he has secured a vantage point next door to the "flag house" with a sniper rifle pointed at the men inside.

My impression is that the rifle is just a vehicle for use of the telescope. Are we giving the reader the impression that Peter is about to fire? Or...maybe he is since the guy killed Astrid and shot Peter....twice. Buster Seven Talk 01:03, 29 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I don't think the text necessarily suggests a motivation to fire. But, given Quinn was tracking his crosshairs right on the guy's head, I think the thought is at least crossing his mind :) --SubSeven (talk) 18:48, 30 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
