Rotten Tomatoes score? edit

So, I distinctly remember The Dirt having an audience score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, and it seems I'm not alone. On the article, this fact is listed, and this article similarly goes into detail about the rating. However, whenever I visit the RT page, the audience score is shown as being "not yet available." Any idea why this may be? --72.83.95.190 (talk) 01:10, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit: Never mind, it seems to be back now. Strange. --72.83.95.190 (talk) 00:49, 30 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

per MOS:FILM: "Do not include user ratings submitted to websites such as the Internet Movie Database or Rotten Tomatoes, as they are vulnerable to vote stacking and demographic skew". Hope this clears things up. TropicAces (talk) 22:45, 5 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@TropicAcres No. Do a little more research instead of biased destructive editing. The film was FIRST in limited THEATRICAL RELEASE on the west coast in Hollywood Arclight Cinemas for 10 days PRIOR to its Netflix premiere. Patrons purchased tickets to this film while it was in limited theatrical release. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.252.203.105 (talk) 00:19, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

User TropicAcres has engaged in an edit war at The Dirt (Film) page making 15 (FIFTEEN) destructive edits to the article AFTER a talk page discussion decided to INCLUDE the COMPLETE Rotten Tomatoes review INCLUSIVE with the VERIFIED purchased tickets Audience Score. However, user TropicAcrea has assumed article ownership and is guilty of Edit Warring himself in his biased attempt to deliberately EXCLUDE the favorable audience review which he now falsely claims is “unsourced”. The source is cited as Rotten Tomatoes website for this film. Check the link: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_dirt_2019 We (Rotten Tomatoes) now have Verified Ratings and Reviews to make our Audience Score more useful When you see "Verified" it means we've confirmed a user bought a ticket to the movie — Preceding unsigned comment added by StutzTCB (talkcontribs) 06:04, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

StutzTCB again, this is more that it is a established Wikipedia rule to not include IMDb and RT audience ratings in the articles because they can easily be bias or bridgevoted. Also, nothing on The Dirt's page mentions "verified" ticket buyers, because it pre-dates that program and Netflix doesn't release ticket info. I get you're probably a fan of the band and/or film so you want to combat the negative reviews, but that is something you'd have to start here on the Talk page and get a consensus in order to go against the Wiki rules.
