The Plot section is far too long!
editThe Plot section takes up about four full screens of text on my laptop. It's divided into about eight subsections. This is not standard for movies described on Wikipedia. I haven't seen the movie so I can't weigh in on what should be cut, other than "probably 90% of it." 2601:240:CB01:4610:E825:4E3C:8F2A:2ED2 (talk) 23:14, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- "When U.S. Navy captain Queeg shows signs of mental instability that jeopardizes the safety of his ship, USS Caine, in a violent storm, the executive officer, Lt. Maryk, relieves him of command; Maryk now faces court-martial for mutiny. Lt. Greenwald, a skeptical JAG lawyer, is made to defend Maryk. Greenwald becomes increasingly concerned as the court martial proceeds and questions if the Caine incident were a true mutiny or the courageous acts of a group of sailors that could no longer trust their unstable leader." The synopsis at present is highly inaccurate. The only issue is that it is the ending, therein lies the rub. It is hard to source this as you would have to watch the film.
