I just saw this film on cable last night. It seemed very strange: 1) because it had to have been shot before Pearl Harbor on 7 DC 41 since the enemy saboteurs were not shown to be either Japanese or German and the tanks were laughably tin can looking and nothing like the Sherman tanks of WW II, and 2) because Donna Reed, the young-looking TV star of the 50s and 60s is in it, so this had to be at the beginning of her career. I think the filmography should include an explanation that the film was shot before the U. S. entered WW II (Zap2it.com, the television guide, shows it as a 1941 film) and if possible provide the date that shooting was complete. A very interesting film shot right on the brink of WW II. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.240.66.204 (talk) 23:46, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

That's because wikipedia has it erroneously listed as a WWII film. The Bugle Sounds is a WORLD WAR ONE film. GOTCHA, WIKI! 184.20.100.43 (talk) 19:41, 24 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
Disregard my above comment - it IS about the EARLY period of WWII. My bad. PlatoonDaddy (talk) 17:18, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
