Untitled edit

I remember reading an article in NME or so that The Blow Monkeys wanted to include a condom with their fourth album, but this was denied by some authority. Can anyone confirm this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.123.168.43 (talk) 17:52, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Grocers-daughter-cover.jpg edit

Image:Grocers-daughter-cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011 edit

Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 1 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. If a new location cannot be found, the link(s) should be removed. This applies to the following external links:

In the U.S. the Blow Monkey's are best known for "Digging Your Scene, not "You Don't Know Me" – July 2011 edit

Removed the Allmusic line reference in the first section to "You Don't Know Me" being the Blow Monkey's best known U.S. hit, since it was mentioned further on page. Also, "You Don't Know Me" was merely a track on the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack, not a hit in the U.S.

"Digging Your Scene" reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in August, 1986. "Digging Your Scene" is by far the Blow Monkey's biggest hit in the U.S. They are (I believe) a one-hit wonder with that song here in the U.S. I added the Billboard Hot 100 link (Aug 2, 1986 Billboard Magazine). Sophistipop edit

Can someone remove all references to sophistipop as it's not something The Blow Monkeys themselves agree with. Source: official Blow Monkeys Twitter account. https://twitter.com/theblowmonkeys/status/1612913753015590988. Hermosa69 (talk) 12:11, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
