Folk music usually pacific? edit
"While Loesser's melody emulates folksong,[6] a normally pacific genre, the text of the song unapologetically glorifies military valor." Really? I can think of lots of martial folk songs (particularly from Scotland, although I'm sure lots of other countries have similar). I suppose it might technically be true the folk songs are "usually" pacific, in that the majority are about things other than war. But surely there are enough martial ones that Loesser's melody emulating folksong while glorifying valour is unremarkable? Iapetus (talk) 22:39, 24 January 2019 (UTC)
