Talk:The Amazing Race 28

Note on the season teaser video edit

I would be suspicious of anything that implies a "from their homes" start line from that video to assert anything on this page. To me, it looks more like a marketing/promo tie-in with the racers social media aspect. It reminds me more of other more traditional reality TV shows where contestants are shown receiving news they will be on the show and to get themselves to the filming location. Same thing here seems to be happening. I might be wrong, but the video alone is not sufficient to add claims now about this disparate start line. --MASEM (t) 15:47, 12 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

TAR 29 edit

Although the CBS schedule has not announced a premiere date yet, it is known that season 29 has begun filming.

Mainstream media has reported on the filming, see http://www.enstarz.com/articles/164037/20160616/the-amazing-race-season-29-spoilers-phil-keoghan-dishes-on-new-teams-locations-video.htm is, but there have been other interviews with Phil publsihed in various online mainstream media the past couple of days. which was posted today as well as tweets retweeted by Phil Keoghan and Elise Doganieri of the start line this past weekend: https://twitter.com/CelebSightings/status/741395086269812736 https://twitter.com/CelebSightings/status/741395086269812736

I posted this as an FYI: I'll leave it to y'all to decide how to handle it Theschnauzers (talk) 06:05, 17 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

United Nations roadblock edit

I did copyedit on the article, there was one rough passage I'll mention: one team member had to identify ten flags of 193 members (representing ten of the original UN members). I felt this was confusing and rewrote it as "one team member had to identify 10 flags from a group of 193, representing 10 of the founding members of the United Nations". If someone could verify that the meaning is correct, that'd be great. - Reidgreg (talk) 01:30, 18 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

They were given a certain amount of flags and certainly not 193 (on a board). Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 01:52, 18 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
That sounds right. 193 is the current total members, which would include all 51 original or founding members (not just 10). 193 − 41 = 152 would be the maximum number of members with only 10 founding members. Honestly, I can't recall the specifics of the challenge. Reidgreg (talk) 15:20, 18 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
