Salut, J.R. ! I am cleaning-up your article. It needs much formatting and wikifying to meet Wikipedia standards. (I am also cleaning little problems with your French, not a big problem - you need to use « à » (a-grave) on your keyboard, by the way.) - - Your images did not load on the pages. I searched for them in WikiCommons but could not find the files. Did the Wiki police delete them? If so, be sure to cite permissions - if you are editing this from Paris - or Public Domain - if you are editing this from Pittsburgh. If the images are Fair Use, not Public Domain, please reload them through the U.S. site, NOT to WikiCommons. (Europe does not accept the principles of Fair Use.) If you need help, please leave a message on my talk page. I can pick-up the image of Salomé up off of your website, if you prefer, but higher resolution would be better.

J.R., you should create a Wikipédia User account so I don't have to leave messages here in the future for you. Bien amicalement Charvex (talk) 05:54, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

P.S. Please rewrite or delete the first full paragraph of your article - « what a catastrophe! » (big smile!). It is probably perfect for your dissertation, but it is not an appropriate introdction for an encyclopedia article. Merci. À bientôt ! Charvex (talk) 05:58, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Source citations edit

Please use Wikipédia approved APA Style for your source citations in this article. They are incomplete as they now stand. Also use inline citations wherever possible to substantiate your facts better. If you are using the the humanities style of Turabian or The Chicago Manual of Style, 15th edition, which are common in the U.S., this is OK, but APA will be more consistent with other best articles. Merci encore. Charvex (talk) 06:06, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

First paragraph edit

I edited out the first paragraph of this article. It appears immediately below, if someone wants to rewrite it into something more appropriate for an introduction to an encyclopedic article. Tchao ! Charvex (talk) 11:14, 23 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

« Each year thousands of people flock to Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris to visit the grave of rock star Jim Morrison. Just a few hundred yards away is the sepulchre of a forgotten genius, Théodore Salomé. Although very popular during the second half of the nineteenth century, not only for his brilliant organ playing, but also for his exquisite compositions, Théodore Salomé has fallen into oblivion in our time - what an absolute nightmare, an utter catastrophe, in fact this whole article is just a litany of woes! »
