Album name

Does anyone have any idea why this album is called "Tempted and Tried"? The words do not occur anywhere on the songs on the album. However, there is a gospel song, sung by The Byrds on their album "Farther Along", called "Farther Along" which has the first line, "Temped and Tried":

The same song appeared as a bonus track on Steeleye's "Please to See the King" on the Castle re-issue of 2006. Is that the explanation?

I've added the UK track listing that appeared on the Chrysalis release, and that appears on the new "Another Parcel of Steeleye Span" box set. Lunarship (talk) 00:39, 8 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
