Potential Edits

"The disc is composed of fibrocartilagenous tissue (like the firm and flexible elastic cartilage of the ear) which is positioned between the two bones that form the joint." Just wondering if it would be more appropriate to compare the disc to another piece of fibrocartilage rather than elastic cartilage? e.g. in the nose, or intervertebral discs? Real-time MRI movies

Hi, we added some movies created with Real-time MRI, but this was reverted, because of we have a conflict of interest. (We are the authors of the movies). Reading the policy regarding COI I do not see how this revert is justified, but I do not want to start an edit war... It would be nice if somebody could take a look at the last edit of zangshuo517 and add the movie back in. In my opinion, our movies would be a nice contribution to this page. Clarify wording in Innervation section

Where it says: "Sensory innervation of the temporomandibular joint is derived from the auriculotemporal and masseteric branches of V3 or mandibular branch of the trigeminal nerve." Perhaps a comma is required after V3 so it reads: "Sensory innervation of the temporomandibular joint is derived from the auriculotemporal and masseteric branches of V3, or mandibular branch of the trigeminal nerve." Need to clarify image or legend.

Grammar needs to be corrected. Tmj (one joint on the left and one on the right) and tmj, when treated as a singular unit, are both singular nouns. Adjective and verb agreement are lacking in many instances. 2600:1702:1860:2C20:D86F:E30D:8611:9359 (talk) 01:42, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
