Update with 2015 FCC ruling edit
This article contains information that needs to be changed to reflect the FCC ruling of February 26, 2015. That ruling reclassified Internet service to be telecommunications service. This is at odds with the article's current statements that:
- "This category includes incumbent local exchange carriers, competitive local exchange carriers, and mobile wireless communication companies." – because it also includes ISPs now
- "the term TSP generally excludes Internet service providers (ISPs), cable companies, satellite TV, and managed service providers." – because ISPs are now considered TSPs
