Off-topicEdit

The "History" section is way long and describes many events that don't seem to be directly relevant to the organization itself. Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act would be greatly improved by moving some of this over there.--Atlantima 16:35, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

VillagesEdit

Kaktovik is not within the TCC region. Not even close. However, they may be affiliated with TCC due to Fairbanks being just as easy to reach via air than Barrow. Anaktuvuk Pass did align with TCC several years ago for roughly this reason - namely, that all flights from "AKP" to the outside world go through Fairbanks, with none going through Barrow (the only flights between those two communities are generally charters). There have also been ongoing political issues within the North Slope Borough, between Barrow and the borough's eastern outlying villages.

Additionally, the article reads as if it were copied and pasted from a TCC web page. Anyone care to check that out?RadioKAOS (talk) 22:38, 11 June 2011 (UTC)
