Senpais section
editIt seems like somebody is trying to vandalize the page (maybe a student? idk). The senpais section and also stuff like "The principal of the school is Poi." Singerng (talk) 13:34, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
Sensing some vandalism in here
editThe principal tab and description of computer science teacher seem to be out of whack.... Probably needs to be changed. Looks like vandalism but i cant be sure. 173.79.68.101 (talk) 00:56, 17 January 2013 (UTC) IP :D The Foreign Language Department section looks a bit off, as well.... 173.79.68.101 (talk) 01:02, 17 January 2013 (UTC) IP
SGA officers: notable?
editI am inclined to remove the entire "Students" section as it now stands, as it appears to be highly non-notable and possibly vanity. But if someone can convince me that it's notable, I'm open to being convinced. Thoughts? --Alynna 01:41, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- Went ahead and took out the section, since no one seemed to object. --Alynna 05:57, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
I do not think the current SGA officers are notable. Following usual Wikipedia criteria, how about we stop adding that information unless it has proved notability by appearing in a newspaper or other non-school source? --Alynna 04:18, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Objection to deletion
editWould TPMS become notable if we could find some of its awards and include them? Because I'm sure it has some. --Alynna 15:00, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
What kind of awards would you like? There are various areas in which TPMS receives awards, including chess, math, step team. Mchoi815 19:28, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Anything major - i.e., something that would make TPMS interesting to a person who lives across the country, doesn't know any middle school students, and has never heard of it before. --Alynna 19:37, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Magnet program
editI removed the whole section. Someone should write some content on what teams are fielded from the school. Otherwise it is not notable. --evrik (talk) 15:19, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
About the article as a whole, many parts of it are about the magnet program. Shouldn't we make a separate section about the magnet program instead? Mchoi815 19:30, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable. Go for it. --Alynna 19:37, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Track
editHow efficent would a track be that is shaped like a foot? I thought tracks were shaped like an oval. Lots42 12:59, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
The track is mostly like an oval except for one bump. --Mazercat (talk) 23:44, 15 March 2010 (UTC)
I think that we should just call it an imperfect square. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123Mike456Winston789 (talk • contribs) 16:55, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Athletics
editI removed the whole section. Please add some descriptive content on the program if you ad it back. --evrik (talk) 15:20, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
Notability
editThe article currently mentions several "notable" magnet teachers but gives no support for this, nor do the dead links they refer to. Did they win awards or something? Maybe that part should be deleted. HoboMcJoe (talk) 21:20, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
Concert Band
editIt appears that Intermediate Orchestra and band are registered as Concert Orchestra and band while the actual Concert Orchestra is registered as 6th Grade Orchestra. There appear to have been multiple attempts to fix this, but they have all been reverted. TPMSFTW (talk) 22:44, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
