Mexican-Style adjective?

The first paragraph states that Taco-Bell is a 'Mexican-Style' fast-food restaurant. This is misleading; it would be more accurate if it read 'Tex-Mex fast-food restaurant'. Thoughts? Vmorale4 (talk) 15:31, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

No, it is more correct to call it "Mexican-style" or "Mexican-inspired." Some people think that if something claims to be Mexican food but isn't coming from a shack that's just about to fall apart and being cooked by a stooped-over old Mexican woman then it must actually be "Tex-Mex" food. But there is next to nothing about Taco Bell food inspired by anything from Texas. We all know Taco Bell is not entirely authentic Mexican food. Even Taco Bell knows that. They are not trying to trick anybody. In fact, they are the ones who claim their menu to only be "Mexican-inspired." In Costa Rica

I can personally verify that Taco Bell exists in Costa Rica. It probably exists in many other Latin American countries as well - anyone know where we might find a complete list?

Naval Station Rota

There is a statement listed in the trivia section regarding the United States Navy Naval Station Rota in Spain. It states that the only Taco Bell in Spain is on that base . . . this is a very notable statement, and should be included in this article.207.114.206.48 (talk) 05:42, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Discontinued Items - update

Taco Bell return to UK

Hi, this article doesn't seem to allow editing. Could the owner of the article please include the following information in the international section. Yum! has plans to launch a new trial of Taco Bell in the United Kingdom as one of its next projects. China

After doing some research, I have found that there are no longer Taco Bell Grandes in China. The Shanghai location closed at the end of January 2008. One location in Shenzhen closed on February 20, 2008; the second location followed shortly after, closing on March 5, 2008.

Volcano Menu

Just got back from a Taco Bell in Irvine and saw that they now have a Volcano Menu with a Volcano Double Beef Burrito, a Volcano Taco (in a red corn shell), and a Volcano Crunchwrap (with or without chicken). And as of today, Jan 12, 2009, the Volcano taco is no longer on the menu at the Lugoff, SC location, and I do not see it on their website. The girl at the counter said "it'll probably be back." For now, it's been discontinued. Hukt own fonikz (talk) 17:28, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Incorrect Slogan

The slogan is "Feed the Beat" not "Feed the Beast" which is utilized by Del Taco. It is in reference to Taco Bell’s Feed the Beat music program.

Taco Bell established in 2006 a non-traditional, key influencer program called "Feed the Beat." It engaged up-and-coming indie rock bands and supported them on their journey to become a breakthrough band.

More Discontinued items

I originally visited this page to find out what happened to my nachos. I distinctly remember having nachos with olives and jalapenos but the biggest baddest offering of nachos they had was the nachos bell grande. I guess they got rid of olives all together. Anyway, I believe they used to have something called Muchos Grandes Nachos or something similar.

I think they also used to serve a green burrito and maybe a red burrito. I'm not sure if it is still true but you used to be able to order discontinued items even if they weren't on the menu anymore. Steveandaugie (talk) 19:05, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Shenzhen China closed

According to a report on SZBuzz and the same blog on szstuff the Taco Bells in China are now closed. The only way I could confirm it is to phone them up, but that would be original research!! Article should be updated? --SnakeSeries (talk) 12:26, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Singapore 3-in-1 back to KFC-only

The Singapore 3-in-1 KFC-PizzaHut-TacoBell outlets have discontinued the Taco Bell menu items. All of the 3-in-1 stores have removed all Taco Bell menu items, food stocks and advertising. The 3-in-1 name is also going away with many of the store brandings already removed. Only the website still refers to them as 3-in-1 still. Not completely sure if the PizzaHut menu items are also gone, but definitely the Taco Bell ones. It will be sadly missed. 203.211.141.166 (talk) 20:22, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
