Hobby game

edit

I redirect this here per the ref '[1]. While I am open to creating a separate article, for now we need more references. Without a ref for definition, the very term tabletop game and the lead defining it is WP:OR. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:25, 26 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Other type of classiffication

edit

In Tabletop#games is other classiffication which is not included in actual version of this article. I suggest to include it 13:10, 8 March 2018 (UTC)Dawid2009 (talk) 17:29, 8 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Delete "In culture" section?

edit

Does this page need an "In culture" section? It's currently a pretty arbitrary list of Geek & Sundry-produced web content, which doesn't seem appropriate given that tabletop games are ubiquitous in human cultures and date back to the Stone Age. (Heck, they might be older than tables.) Buckleyschance (talk) 04:20, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

As there was no further discussion after a few days, I have gone ahead and deleted the section. It's better not to have this section than to inappropriately summarise "tabletop games in culture" by reference to the productions of one YouTube channel.
