Sweeney! (1977 film) → Sweeney! – The proposed new title already redirects here, so the qualifier is unnecessary. The TV series is The Sweeney. PatGallacher (talk) 11:05, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
- Comment shouldn't it be Sweeney (1977 film), since the punctuation shouldn't be in titles? 65.92.180.188 (talk) 03:07, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
- Comment since the sequel is called Sweeney 2, shouldn't Sweeney 1 redirect here? 65.92.180.188 (talk) 03:07, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
To answer the first question: no, I am not aware that we cannot have punctuation in titles if it forms part of the film's actual title, see e.g. Oliver! and the film poster on this article. To answer the 2nd question: that is a separate issue which should be dealt with on its merits. PatGallacher (talk) 19:50, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
